Metroid Prime 4 In Development, Metroid: Samus Returns Confirmed


  Metroid Prime 4 is in development as confirmed during the E3 2017 livestream. Metroid Prime 4 will be released for Nintendo Switch however the stream did not give any confirmation of the releasing date. Side from the tease trailer which is 40sec long and showing only the logo, they aren't any details about the gameplay or what features will Metro Prime 4 have.

  As the name states this will be fourth game of the critically acclaimed series starting from the release of Metro Prime in 2002 and following the lates releases of Metroid Prime 2 in 2004 and Metroid Prime 3 in 2007.

No information is given who is developing Metroid Prime 4.

  However we got confirmation on Metroid: Samus Returns with a huge info on the gameplay as showed in the gameplay trailer in which we can surely see the good redesing from Metroid: Samus Returns for Gameboy. It will be designed as 2d platformer with 3d polygons used for the design in the caverns. Also the controls are changed and freedom of movement and aiming will be much better and fluent including the added melee counter as can be used to parry incoming attacks if timed well. 

  As shown in the trailer we can expect huge variety of approaching the game, hidden tunnels and secrets are present and backtracking will always be a case here. All in all the game in the current state is looking awesome and play's well. 

  We can expect the game releasing in September 15 until the check the gameplay in the trailer bellow and judge for yourself.
